Prom Trend of the Week: Printed Dresses

This week's prom trend is one of our favorites because we love seeing different patterns and innovative looks every year. Printed dresses are so creative and are always fresh since there's so many different ways to wear the trend! A print dress will always be a showstopper; whether it's animal print or polka dots, you'll be sure to have the most memorable dress of the night!

Printed dresses can either work with your figure or go against it, depending on the pattern and your body shape and height. So, just make sure to pick a pattern that suits your body type. If you find the right printed dress, it can be super figure flattering. Below are some of our favorite new patterned dresses for Prom 2013 - they are all great looks that certainly take the boredom out of a solid color dress!

1. La Femme 18969 Rose Gold Gown - A unique sequined gown with a sweetheart neckline and contrasting pattern on the skirt. The chevron pattern is très chic. One of our favorites! If you're on the taller side, this is a great dress option - the chevron pattern will really work to give you a slimming figure.

2. Sherri Hill 2813 Nude Evening Gown - Be the center of attention in this fitted floor length strapless jeweled gown. The unique beaded pattern on this dress takes the patterned dress trend to a new level by almost giving it a 3D look! The way the patterns are laid out on this dress should work to accent your curves.

3. Tony Bowls Tony B 2351337 - A strapless printed chiffon A-line prom dress with a sweetheart neckline and gathered empire waist accented with chunky hand-beading. This is simply a fun dress, and a great way to wear print in a more simple way. The subtle ombre make this dress so on-trend, while the print gives off an artsy look.

4. La Femme 18017 - Go wild in this blue one shoulder animal print ombre gown with a sexy front slit. The pleated bodice has cutouts leading to the back cutout and trimmed with sequins and beading. If you love animal print, this is such a fun way to rock the look. The ombre keeps the animal print from being too overpowering, since it fades into white at the bottom.
