We may be going into the cooler fall and winter months, but dress designer Sherri Hill is in full Prom 2018 mode with steaming hot new looks. While the new Sherri Hill Spring/Summer 2018 Collection isn't available yet, the designer held their runway show on Tuesday, September 13, 2017 as a preview of what's to come.

It looks like fringe is coming back in full-force with Sherri Hill for the upcoming season. So many looks featured chic fringe detail that we can't wait to get our hands on. Other than fringe, there were lots of bold colors, unique patterns and embellishments, florals, jumpsuits, dresses with capes, and lots of sparkles.

The gorgeous new Sherri Hill dresses are not the only reason that we loved what we saw on the Sherri Hill Spring/Summer 2018 runway. We also loved who we saw on the runway! In case you missed it, actor Jamie Foxx's daughter, Corinne Foxx, was one of Sherri Hill's models. Miss Universe 2014, Paulina Vega, was finally crowned last week, and one of our favorite dress designers was of course at the forefront of the pageant providing gorgeous gowns for all of the contestants: Mac Duggal! The dress designer's latest prom styles and never-before-seen pageant gowns were on display in Miami from the red carpet, to the runway, to the Miss Universe pageant. In combination with La Casa Hermosa and AMerican Model Magazine, Mac Duggal hosted a special Miami fashion show to kick off the Miss Universe Pageant!

The event was hosted at the historic Beauville Beach Resort in Miami, a perfect place to watch such gorgeous gowns walk the runway! American Model Magazine started the evening off with a photo shoot where all of the models got to show off their Mac Duggal gowns in front of a beautiful backdrop. In the photo below, American Model Magazine models are showing off Mac Duggal 4152 (left) and Mac Duggal 65024 (right).

After the photo shoot, it was time to start walking the red carpet! On the red carpet, Miss South Florida USA, Lisa Opie interviewed Mac Duggal to learn all about what's going on in the pageant world. He spoke about the latest trends and his contribution to all things pageant! Watch the interview here:

Once the interviews were complete and the photos taken, it was finally time for the runway show to begin. The runway models showed off some of the latest Spring 2015 prom dresses, but also unveiled some brand new pageant gowns that have never been seen before. It was definitely the perfect way to get in the mood for the Miss Universe pageant!

The beauty trends for Haute Couture Fashion week are anything but average. In fact, the typical adjectives used to capture the art displayed by various designers and artists include wild, eclectic, and whimsical. However non-realistic and daring these hair and makeup looks may be, they always seem to have an underlying layer of prettiness drawing us to them and tempting us to give them a try on our own mini runways in everyday life. Here are a few of the 2014 Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week beauty trends we enjoyed the most and would be willing to try for Fall and Homecoming 2014.

Chanel Haute Couture 2014

Each model rocked a sequin cap with a feathered, extremely piece-y up-do. We love this rocker goes glam inspired look complete with metallic winged eyeliner. The silver and gold glow on the eyes reminds of Winter and the holidays!

Atelier Versace Haute Couture 2014

Move over barely there eye makeup. It looks like Atelier Versace went all out with an all over eye color and gave new meaning to winged eyes. Instead of a winged tip, these models had fully winged eyelids in teal for a sultry dramatic effect, which was balanced with nude lips and high slick backed top knots! This look has 70's disco party all over it and we are ready to put on a jumper and dance.

On Aura Tout Vu Haute Couture 2014

The models for this show walked in an ethereal water wonderland with violet shadowed, sunken eyes, also lined in metallic silvers giving an icy winter presence. The tight pin curls on the models have a wet look, which ties in with the entire Haute Couture collection being inspired by water. We can certainly get "aboard" with this look for the Fall and Winter months ahead.

Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall 2014

We thought adhesive eyelashes were a miracle, but we didn't know what was coming next. Makeup artists for the Christian Dior Haute Couture show kept the trending curve going with metallic eyes, only with the exception of using silver adhesive liners instead. We would give these "Velvet Eyes" adhesive liners a go for their perfect shapes, bold colors, and long wear appeal.

After reviewing our favorite beauty trends of 2014's Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, we feel less disappointed knowing Summer will eventually come to an end. Knowing we will have exciting makeup, hair, and fashion trends to look forward to certainly puts our minds at ease!

Sherri Hill is no newbie to the fashion show game. After working with now competitor Jovani Fashions for 8 years, Sherri Hill started her own line in 2008. Soon after, her designs began to get name recognition in the pageant world as several top competition winners began to win in her gowns! Now, over 800 stores scattered in 30 countries sell the Sherri Hill brand and it's only getting better. Continuously dressing celebrities for the Red Carpet like Selena Gomez and Bella Thorne, The Sherri Hill Collection hit New York Fashion Week's 2011 runway with Kendall Jenner walking for the show, as well as other big names. The Spring 2013 Spring Collection featured Kendall and Kylie Jenner walking the New York Fashion Week show, as well as Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza!

At MFW 2014, Sherri featured her contemporary designs with a twist for the resort 2014 collection and it was perfection as always! One of the fabulous models walking for Sherri Hill was Miss Universe 2013, Gabriela Isler! She was beautiful and sparkled down the runway like the diamond that she is!

The next complete Sherri Hill collection will be featured on her website June 2nd, and we can't wait to see what she has in store for Homecoming and Fall! Are you excited? What was you favorite Sherri Hill dress this season?

It looks like one of our favorite designers is conquering the world one day at a time! Famed dress and evening gown designer Johnathan Kayne is keeping busy this April, making a splash where ever he goes! He began the month featured at Nashville Fashion Week's closing night and the entire JK team partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make a girl's dream come true! Together, they had 14-year-old Esperanza Montalvo live her lifelong dream of becoming a runway model as she strut the catwalk with Johnathan during the closing night finale! The crowd was cheering while Esperanza wore a gorgeous pink strapless gown, Johnathan Kayne style 409, on the 45-foot catwalk. What a dream come true!

Keeping busy, Mr. Kayne went from Nashville to Las Vegas to dress celebrities for the American Country Music Awards! Song of the year winner, Lee Brice wore a custom Johnathan Kayne tuxedo jacket with leather accents and brass detail. Lee's wife Sara was also dressed in a Johnathan Kayne gorgeous sparkly gold gown, and won one of People Magazine's top ten best dressed! Get her look with these Johnathan Kayne gold dresses.

Johnathan also dressed USA Today's Red Carpet Correspondent Hilary Bilings, also known as Miss Nevada 2013,  in a pretty bright blue embellished mermaid gown! Way to go Johnathan! Check out more Johnathan Kayne blue dresses.

Already working hard on the upcoming 2015 collection, Johnathan is one busy man! What will Mr. Kayne be up to next? I guess we will have to wait and see! As for now in his words, "XOXO Stay Beautiful!"

New York Fashion Week 2013 may have come to a close, but we're still oogling over all the lovely looks! We talked about Sherri Hill's runway show last week...but we're still not over all the beautiful new dresses they debuted, especially Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson's new line with the designer, "Sadie Robertson Live Original." So, we wanted to recap some of the pretty dresses she wore on the runway. The dresses aren't out yet, but take a sneak peek below at some of the new Sherri Hill dresses to come for Spring 2014. And, they are all of course ,"daddy approved," so they're definitely formal appropriate (hint, hint...a little prom inspiration!)!

Above, Sadie Robertson is on the stage with the dress designer herself, Sherri Hill! She's wearing a gorgeously elegant polka dot gown that will be available for Prom 2014. The look may be, "daddy approved," but will still definitely be turning a lot of heads!

As a "sneak peek" to what was to come on the runway, Sadie wore a different polka dot look on the red carpet. This first polka dot dress she wore was a short cocktail dress - so perfect for a fun and flirty look for a formal event!

Another Sherri Hill look that she rocked so perfectly on the runway was the above champagne colored cocktail dress. The lace detailing at the bottom of the dress and rhinestone encrusted sweetheart neckline add the perfect extra touches to make it such a unique look!

Before the show in an interview with E!, Sadie admitted that she was, "a little nervous, but more excited than anything." She definitely didn't show her nerves on the runway - she walked it like a seasoned model! New York Fashion Week 2013 is here, and who's one of our favorite designers showing of their new collection? Sherri Hill, of course! The dress designer showed off her new Spring 2014 collection for the upcoming Prom Season, and we are so in love with all of the new styles! Before the show started, everyone was walking the red carpet, of course. One of the most anticipated guests of the night were the Robertson's from reality TV show Duck Dynasty. The Robertson's sat in the front row so that they could see Sadie walk the runway for her new "Sadie Robertson Live Original" collection with Sherri Hill!

Another celebrity that walked the Sherri Hill runway was Olivia Culpo, Miss USA and Miss Universe 2012. In the above photo, she's getting all dolled up behind the scenes before the show.

And, here's Olivia after the show with her boyfriend, Nick Jonas. They look amazing together! Olivia is wearing a new dress from the upcoming Spring 2014 line, but this lace and corset style is one that Sherri Hill already has a few other dresses in! Back in February, we posted some cute photos of girls from one of our local high schools, Holy Spirit, all dressed up in our Rissy Roo's dresses for their Prom 2013 Fashion Show. Well, the girls recently sent us such a sweet "Thank You" note and included a bunch of photos from the event. The note was so nice and all the photos of the girls were beautiful, so we wanted to share them with you!

We were of course so happy to hear that the girls had a great time and were successful in raising money for their scholarship and tuition aid programs! Great job, girls!
