The two love birds finally married on May 19, 2018, a Saturday, which went against tradition, as royal weddings are usually held on a weekday. That's no surprise, since there has been many aspects of Prince Harry and Meghan's engagement and marriage that has gone against tradition.
It was announced on the morning of the wedding that the Queen has conferred a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales. His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel. As a result, Prince Harry is His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Meghan has become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.
The marriage took place in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, with Prince Harry and Meghan becoming the sixteenth royal couple to celebrate their marriage at the castle since 1863.
