Best Dressed Celebrities

Finding the perfect prom dress is of course a very important (and sometimes difficult) task. And, every girl unquestionably dreams of wearing the most fashionable frock on prom night. If you could choose your dress right off the Fashion Week Runway, who wouldn't jump at that chance?? That's why we loved Teen Vogue Magazine's latest article -  they sat down with some of fashion's stars to talk all about prom memories and what they wore! The models they talked to were Karlie Kloss, Ali Stephens, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Andie Arthur, and Kelly Mittendorf, and all of their stories were great. We especially loved Jacquelyn's and Karlie's stories, though - check them out below!

Jacquelyn Jablonski, pictured ready for prom in her white dress in Teen Vogue's image above, is a model from Rissy Roo's home state - New Jersey! She started her modeling career at just 15 years old, so she was always up to date on the biggest trends to wear at prom. She has been a model in campaigns for many famous designers, such as Givenchy, Pucci, Hermes, J. Crew, Tommy Hilfiger, and Max Mara. She's even been a part of H&M and Gap's campaigns!

When Jacquelyn talked to Teen Vogue about prom, she said:

"I chose a white dress. I decided on white because I had worn a mint green dress the year before and felt like everyone wears color. Also, I could accessorize more with white—I wore my mom's big vintage necklace."

That's definitely great advice to keep in mind for those who love accessorizing - going with a more simple dress can mean more room for fun jewelry and shoes!

Karlie Kloss, pictured all dressed up for prom on the left in Teen Vogue's photo above, started modeling at 14 years old, so she always got to take her fashion knowledge to prom, too! She is ranked on the Top 50 Models Women list by Models.com, and Vogue Paris named her one of the top 30 models of the 2000s. So, you can guess that just like Jacquelyn, she's modeled for the best of the best in the fashion industry - Christian Dior, Lacoste, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Oscar de la Renta, and many more.

As far as prom goes, Karlie told Teen Vogue:

"It was special to be able to wear dresses fresh off the runway to my high school dances! Even though nobody else ever knew who or what I was wearing, I did, and it always made me feel like a princess."

Are there many things that we like more than prom and Pretty Little Liars? We don't think so! We've been keeping up with Ashley on PLL, and of course we're obsessed with all of the Faviana prom dresses that she modeled in. But, now she's on the April 2013 cover of Seventeen Magazine! As part of the feature article, Seventeen sat down with her at the Faviana headquarters in NYC to get the scoop on her favorite looks for prom, PLL, and her new film, Spring Breakers.

When it came to prom looks, we were so surprised to hear that Ashley has never even been to prom before! When Seventeen asked what style dress she'd wear to prom, she answered:

"I actually never went to prom before! I would probably wear a short, fun dress. Faviana is a line that girls can feel super-glamorous in. A lot of their designs are kind of based off of what celebrities wear on the red carpet!"

We can agree with her on that - Faviana definitely has some super glamorous dresses!

As far as PLL goes, Ashley's inside scoop on the season finale is getting us way too excited to find out what happens already:

"Well, we find a body. We don't know if it's dead or alive. Also, we get trapped in a house with "A" and all the helpers. There's a big fire that happens. We all kind of get near death. As always!"

You may remember us mentioning Faviana style 7182 in our Best Dressed Celebrities of 2012 blog post that we wrote back in January. Jennifer Lawrence rocked a similar gold dress during the Hollywood premiere of the Hunger Games, and we loved the look so much that we made her one of our favorite four celebrity looks of 2012!

Because we love Faviana style 7182 so much, this time we want to give the dress its own special spotlight! It's a sexy foil jersey mermaid style evening gown with mesh details. It comes in colors Oscar Gold, Sapphire, and Silver.

One of the reasons we love the dress so much is because Jennifer isn't the only celeb known for rocking such a similar style. Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson wore the actual dress in the Sapphire color for a photo shoot she did with Faviana! Check out two of the shots below.

Even though we didn't include Kristen Stewart in our Best Dressed at the 2013 Oscars blog post earlier this week, we were still absolutely in love with her look! We were especially impressed with her style considering she was stuck on crutches for the night!

The white lace gown look has definitely been a popular trend lately, and will continue to be for Prom 2013. There's a lot of different options as far as getting Kristen's look for prom, but we especially love La Femme style 18951. It's a gorgeous white lace mermaid dress with a trumpet silhouette, sweetheart neckline, lace bodice, and flared sheer skirt. Best yet, if white isn't really your color of choice, it also comes in black and red.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards were held at the Staples Center on Sunday, February 10th, and the show was amazing! All of the acts were great, but we were so blown away by Taylor Swift's ode to Alice in Wonderland opening number. Of course, our eyes were glued to the red carpet, though, watching all of the ladies' fashionable outfits! Check out our favorite four looks below:

We loved Carrie Underwood's black embellished mermaid gown. It was such a classy look, and so perfect for prom! Our favorite number to get a similar look is Night Moves style 6652. It's a sexy, mermaid shaped gown with a strapless, sheer bodice. Crystal and beaded lace appliques accent the gown throughout that give it a similar embellished look to Carrie's gown.

Alicia Keys rocked the cut-out look in such a classy way! Especially after Grammy attenders were told that their outfits must be more modest this year, Alicia still looked sexy and showed some skin in style. For a similar look, we love Dave & Johnny style 8723. It's a long black matte jersey dress with side cut outs and a beaded bust and straps.

Green has been a very popular color this year ever since Pantone announced that Emerald Green is the 2013 Color of the Year. So, even though it wasn't the official Emerald Green, we loved that Katy Perry rocked a sexy mint green gown at the Grammy's. To get a similar look, check out Flirt style PF4150. Elegance and glamour definitely steal the show in this sexy ball gown that features beautiful cascading jewels. It has a caught-up skirt with a high front slit and corset back closure that adds to the drama.

Beyonce Knowles stole the red carpet rocking a black and white jumpsuit, rather than the usual gown. She looked absolutely stunning and classic, as it hugged every curve of her body. Jumpsuits are definitely going to be one of the new trends this prom season, so we were amazed to see Beyonce rocking the look! One of our favorite prom jumpsuits that remind us of Beyonce's is Claudine for Alyce style 2232. We love it because while you can be different by rocking a jumpsuit, you can still get the classic gown look with the long overskirt that comes with it.

The 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards have come and gone, but we're still obsessing over all the gorgeous Hollywood ladies' red carpet looks! It was a difficult choice because all the celebrities looked amazing, but we could only choose one favorite look, and we're giving it to Nicole Kidman! Navy blue was a popular color at the SAG Awards this year (both Jennifer Lawrence and Amanda Seyfried wore the color, too), but we fell in love with Nicole's stunning sequined number.

That's why for this week's Dress of the Week, we chose Shail K style SK3192L. It's a full length, silk, hand-sequined dress that shines a unique shade of sparkling navy, and elegantly drapes to the floor with a small train to give you that true diva look! We especially love the daring v-neck and bold open back on the dress.

A lot more pictures have surfaced of Ashley Benson rocking Faviana dresses ever since it was announced that the Pretty Little Liars star is the new face of the dress designer company, and she looks beautiful in every single one of them! We're most excited about the Behind-The-Scene video that Faviana released, though. It's a cute video that shows Ashley wearing all of the different Faviana dresses from the photo shoot - check it out below!

All of the stars were out last night on Jan. 9th for the 2013 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and we loved seeing them arrive on the red carpet! While everyone at Rissy Roo's unanimously agreed that Ian Somerhalder was our fave celebrity that walked the red carpet, we were of course also amazed at how beautiful all the ladies looked!
