Homecoming is an annual tradition that involves the celebration of welcoming back former students or graduates otherwise known as alumni of an educational institution. There are usually many activities that are prepared such as sports and cultural programs, as opposed to only one. A parade is also often included and the town or city is witness to it as this activity is held in the streets. If by any chance you should be confused between a Homecoming and a prom, just remember that the former is held during the fall while the latter happens in spring. While Homecoming’s occur countrywide, those in the south are typically the more lavish and over the top Homecoming’s, as it is generally revered as a more significant event than it is in the Northern States.
The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards were held on April 29th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with so many of Disney's most celebrated celebrities in attendance. With the celebs dressed in their best, of course, some of our favorite dress designers could be found on the red carpet. One of those designers was Johnathan Kayne!
The trio of sisters Southern Halo rocked the red carpet in Johnathan Kayne, and looked so gorgeous.
Breakout artist Tally, aka Tallraps, was set to perform at the awards show. She was ready to put on an amazing performance, but unfortunately her performance clothes never arrived. After asking around, Tally found Johnathan Kayne, asking for help days before the award show. Of course, Johnathan Kayne stepped right in. Continue reading

Leather and faux leather is a go-to fabric for the cooler fall and winter months, but usually it's reserved for clothing like jackets and pants. There's no reason why you can't extent the totally badass fabric to dresses, though. We especially love Jovani 88152 to rock a little leatherette for the holidays. This stunner features gold studded detail on the shoulders to bring an extra bit of edge to the look and an eyelet cut-out detail throughout the dress. It's easy to keep dressed down for a night out at a concert or club, or dress it up for a more formal holiday party, such as your office holiday party. Continue reading

Animal print is a sure-to way to get a totally chic look, and it's so perfect for the holidays because it's super easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. For a shirt, we love this Sequin Elbow Leopard Sweater, which can be worn in so many different ways. Keep it casual by pairing with jeans, or dress it up by pairing it with black pants or a mini skirt. To get an edgy vibe, just pair this shirt with black leather pants or a mini skirt and black pumps, booties, or combat boots! Continue reading
Thanksgiving is almost here! As of today, you're 10 days away from delicious Thanksgiving food. Which, of course, also means that it's time to put together that perfect outfit for your Thanksgiving dinner party. Whether attending your own family dinner, your significant other's dinner, or a friend's, you'll want to be dressed for the occasion.
Most Thanksgiving dinners are pretty casual, but some can be more dressy, so make sure to find out the dress code ahead of time. If you'd like to go with a nice pair of jeans or pants and sweater, last week we showed you our 5 favorite sweaters for holiday parties (or gift giving!). Rocking a dress is always a go-to option, as well, though, so today we're showing our our 5 favorite dresses for a thanksgiving dinner (which are of course also perfect for any other holiday party you may have coming up). These dresses are all conservative enough for a family dinner, while still being so on-trend. Check them out below!
Lace Fit And Flare Dress
Black lace is always a staple for the holidays, and we love it in this Long Sleeve Lace Mini Dress. This lace dress features a sexy illusion back, long sleeves, and a v-neck with a keyhole. The long sleeves makes this dress so perfect for the colder fall and winter months. This dress also comes in the color Ivory if you'd like to rock the Winter White trend.
Crochet Fit and Flare Dress
This Beautiful Crochet Mini Dress is similar to the first lace mini dress, but with a crochet look instead of lace. The sexy, yet classy style features a crochet bodice, a-line waist and long illusion sleeves. This dress also comes in red if you're looking for a more bold color.
Winter White Dress
You can also rock long sleeves in a white dress with Shail K. 3665, a 3/4 sleeve mini that's truly a piece of art. The fun beaded design sets this dress apart giving it a stylish, lively, one of a kind look that's so easy to dress up for a more formal part or down for a more casual dinner.
Red Lace Cocktail Dress
Red, green, and blue are always staple color choices for the holidays if you want a brighter look. We especially love Alyce 4416 because it's a classic cocktail dress look that will never go out of style. From its v-cut neckline, open back, and rhinestones sprinkled upon the sheer lace sheath over linking, this dress is sure to be a crowd pleaser no matter what the event. You can easily add a cardigan over this dress for a Thanksgiving dinner, and drop the cardigan for some night time fun. This dress also comes in colors Black/Nude, Blue Coral/Nude, Burgundy/Nude, and Deep Plum/Nude, all perfect colors for any holiday event.
While the first two dresses we mentioned are great black dress choices, if you want a more classic form fitting LBD, go with Sherri Hill 32006, a short jersey and lace dress. This totally versatile dress features cap sleeves, lace bodice, a v-neckline, and a stretch fitted jersey body. This is definitely a dress that you can easily wear time and time again, from Fall and Winter right into Spring and Summer.
Whatever you end up wearing for your Thanksgiving dinner, have a wonderful time hanging out with your family and friends!
Another one of our favorite days to dress up is almost here... Halloween! Which means, if you haven't put your perfect Halloween costumer together yet, it's time to get going. One of our favorite ways to get a super stylish and sexy Halloween look is to pair Halloween accessories with little black or red dresses and rompers.
So, to help get our Roo Girls in the Halloween mood, we put a together a Halloween outfit that's as easy as it gets to copy yourself: a devil outfit! All you need is a little red dress, a pitchfork, devil horns, devil tail (a nice-to-have), red accessories (like earrings, a necklace, or a bracelet), and paint your nails red, of course!
If you love the look above, here's how to get it yourself: Continue reading
