Nikki Librizzi showed off in two gorgeous Rissy Roo's dresses over the past few months, and we're obsessing just a little (or a lot). She attended her prom back in May, and in June she competed in the America's National Teenager Scholarship Organization (ANTSO) Pageant and walked away with a crown! Of course, she dressed in style in Sherri Hill dresses for both events. Read on to see what she wore to her prom and pageant and what title she won at the ANTSO pageant.

For prom, Nikki chose Sherri Hill 50157, a gorgeous two piece gown. This spectacular creation features a dazzling jeweled illusion crop to with an open back and a fitted jersey skirt with matching beadwork along the waistline. So many girls sent us their gorgeous pictures from prom, and every girl couldn't have looked more beautiful in their Rissy Roo's dress! Over the course of 5 weeks, we chose our top 5 Prom Princesses: Alyssa Torres, Kate Lannon, Raquel Rothstein, Kayla Master, and Kailey Gober. And, this past week, it finally came down to voting on our 2016 Prom Queen.

From June 17th through June 27th, anyone could vote in our 2016 Prom Queen Contest Facebook Album on who would be (virtually) crowned our 2016 Prom Queen out of our five princesses. It was such a close contest that we thought it might come down to a tie! Alyssa gained 62 likes and loves on her photo, Kayla gained 121 likes and loves, Raquel gained 323 likes and loves, Kate gained 514 likes and loves, and Kailey gained 551 likes and loves.

It's finally down to only one 2016 Prom Princess spot left. It was such a hard choice - every single girl looked gorgeous in their prom dress, and we loved all of the testimonials! But, it ultimately came down to only being able to choose one more Prom Princess. So, without further adieu, we're excited to announce that our fifth and final Prom Princess is Kailey Gober!

We are obsessed with her gorgeous prom look, in Sherri Hill 50333! The black dress with pink and red accenting couldn't be more stunning, and we love that her date matched the style of the dress with his suit and boutonniere. Floral perfection!

When Kailey entered our Prom Queen Contest, she shared this message:

I wanted something totally different from everyone's strictly beaded gowns my school wears. My mom found Rissy Roo's online and emailed the store. So far our first, Alyssa Torres, and second, Kate Lannon, 2016 Prom Princesses have been announced, and on Friday, June 3rd, it was time to choose our third prom princess for our 2016 Prom Queen Contest. We're excited to announce that our third Prom Princess is Raquel Rothstein!

Raquel looked so stunning in her dress, Faviana 7573, a black jersey gown with stand-out white accents. We loved how she topped her look off with red lipstick and a red bouquet. It was a perfect classic look combining colors red, white, and black, with the design of her gown giving the colors a modern twist.

When Raquel entered our Prom Queen Contest, she shared this message:

"Going into Rissy's for the first time to look for my prom dress, I was both nervous and excited. The staff made it the best experience while shopping for my dress. They were fun and excited for me. The minute I tried on this dress, I knew it was the one. This dress was perfect for me. I can't thank the staff of Rissy Roo's enough for making prom the best night of my life!"

As a Prom Princess, Raquel won a $50 gift certificate to RissyRoos.com, and she'll also get to compete starting June 17th in the final stage of our contest - to be crowned our 2016 Prom Queen! Just a week ago now, we announced our very first 2016 Prom Princess for our 2016 Prom Queen Contest, Alyssa Torres. Another week has gone by, and we recently announced our second 2016 Prom Princess this past Friday, May 27th. We're excited to announce that our second 2016 Prom Princess is Kate Lannon!

We loved Kate's elegant prom style. The neutral colors that Kate and her date chose let the sparkly top of her dress, her chandelier earrings, and the pretty bouquet and boutonniere take the spotlights. A stunning matching couple!

Kate's dress was created by dress designer Mori Lee. It's a dress that has since been discontinued.

Kate's mom shared Kate's prom pictures and a nice message with us back in April, but when Kate entered our Prom Queen Contest, she had a message of her own to share:

"Huge Rissy Roo's fan...It was love at first sight. I had a fairytale night in my gorgeous princess dress. The staff was fantastic and knew just what I was looking for. Can't wait to go back for Homecoming and Senior Prom! LOVE LOVE LOVE Rissy Roo's. I love being a Roogirl."

As a Prom Princess, Kate won a $50 gift certificate to RissyRoos.com, and she'll also get to compete in June for the the final stage of our contest: to be crowned our 2016 Prom Queen! Our 2016 Rissy Roo's Prom Queen Contest is in full swing, and this past Friday (May 20th), we chose our very first weekly winner, better known as a Prom Princess. We're happy and excited to announce that our first Prom Princess is the beautiful Alyssa Torres!

Alyssa won a $50 gift certificate to RissyRoos.com, and will also be in the running in June to become our 2016 Rissy Roo's Prom Queen to win the grand prize of a $100 gift certificate.

We chose Alyssa because we loved how she rocked the color red throughout her entire prom look, from the prom dress, to her lipstick, to the pretty bouquet. It's a bold color, and she wore it with such style. The pretty red prom dress that Alyssa chose is Mac Duggal 65435A. It's a striking two piece prom dress with a top that features a sweetheart neckline and illusion netting that clasps together in the back.

"I purchased this red two-piece prom dress in March for my senior prom on May 6th. I have worn a Rissy Roo's dress for my past 3 formals. I could not have been more happy with my dress, I loved it!! Thank you ladies for helping me find a dress I loved yet again!"

A couple of days ago we announced our 2016 Prom Queen Contest, and now it's time to see more of our Roo Girl's prom pictures and read their prom dress testimonials. Today, the prom testimonial comes from customer Grace Otley. She purchased her dress months ago for prom, so she was all ready to go for her big day, and it finally came last Friday.

Grace sent us her pictures this week, and said:

"Finally got to wear the dress I got from your store a couple of months ago to my prom this past Friday! Was a hit! Thank you, I love the dress!"

Grace looked so gorgeous! She chose the stylish JVN by Jovani JVN33956. It's a sexy two-piece form fitting dress that features a halter crystal embellished top with a sheer panel and a jersey skirt with cascading crystals along the backside. The gorgeous pictures from our Roo Girls in their prom dresses continue! Earlier this week, we showed you Brett Emery's elegant, yet flirty look, and today we're writing to show you Lily Hogan's prom dress. Lily's mom, Rene' Yelich-Hogan has been in contact with us ever since they purchased Lily's dress.

Rene' and Lily are from Millville, NJ, so they visited our store in Linwood, New Jersey back in February and shared such kind words with us:

"Thank you so much for a wonderful experience yesterday! We popped in just to look and 2 hours of some of the BEST customer service I have ever experienced later we found THE dress for her prom. Thank you for making my daughter feel special!"

Lily finally attended her prom in April this year, so Rene' was kind enough to follow-up with pictures of Lily in her prom dress, and said:

"Thank you for making my girl feel like a million dollars! See ya next year!"

Lily chose La Femme style 21565 as her dress, and it couldn't have fit her more perfectly. La Femme 21565 is an enchanting net mermaid gown that features cascading lace applique and a modest train. The gown also features a sheer bodice with a fitted short skirt and a keyhole back. It's a perfect way to show of some skin in an elegant way, and Lily certainly did that stunningly!  Continue reading →
