Bar and Bat Mitzvahs are a very special celebration time for a family. It's the celebration of the coming of age for young boys and girls, so are certainly the best of occasions to rock a fun party dress!

Jessi Kaplan, from South Florida, recently celebrated her Bat Mitzvah, and she did so in style. She rocked two gorgeous looks from RissyRoos.com to celebrate the special day: one for the Bat Mitzvah service and one for the party. Jessi's not the only gal of honor who rocked a Rissy Roo's dress at her Bat Mizvah, though - her mom, Randee, did, too! For Jessi's Bat Mitzvah service, Jessi wore Sherri Hill style 51521 in gold, a lace v-neck a-line dress.

Sherri Hill 51521 features a sheer lace bodice, with a sweetheart neckline, opaque bra cups, lace tank straps, and an open square back, with a zipper closure. The beautiful short a-line skirt features an opaque underlay and scalloped hem. To top it all off, the entire dress is sprinkled with delicate jewels.

Sherri Hill 51521 was the perfect choice for a glamorous look that's still conservative enough for a Bat Mitzvah service. Plus, the gold of the Sherri Hill dress perfectly matched Jessi's talit.

When it was time to celebrate the special day during Jessi's Bat Mitzvah party, Jessi went full-on glam! She wore JVN by Jovani style JVN54472, a shimmering two-piece party dress.

Jovani JVN54472 is a colorful show-stopper dress that is covered in dazzling sequins and accented with a floral embroidered pattern on the crop top and on the hip of the skirt. The bodice has two on-trend features: a high neck and an open back. Our favorite part of this dress, though, is another trend - the ombre effect of sequins that gives it such a stand-out look!

How cute are the pink knee-high socks that Jessi wore for her party? The socks are such a fun (and comfortable) touch!

Jessi's mom, Randee, was dressed to impress for the Bat Mitzvah party, too. Randee also wore a Jovani dress to the party. She wore Jovani style 58646, but with a twist - she cut the floor-length gown to be a short dress! Check out the dress on our website to see it as a floor-length gown. Jovani 58646 blossoms with a floral print, made entirely of sequins, that couldn't be more gorgeous. The halter has a deep plunge neckline and halter straps, and the square back has lace-up corset details and a tie closure.

We love that Randee topped off her look with such fun floral high heels - it was the perfect touch to the Jovani dress!

With the 2017 Prom Season now over, the pictures and videos have been pouring in of our customers in their gorgeous prom dresses. From totally glam styles to classic looks, our Roo Girls all looked so gorgeous in their dresses. The latest pictures that we want to share with you were sent in by Danyelle Chere Jackson of her daughter, Mikhaela Jackson, in her prom gown. Danyelle shared a video and so many pretty pictures with us, and said:

"Thanks to the young lady that helped me find this dress for my princess Mikhaela! She and Braxton stunned at their Senior Prom. My sales rep was so awesome and she went beyond her job to find this dress for me! She called back numerous times to help me and that's why I ordered the dress from you instead of another location in Florida!!!! I am forever grateful for her! I cannot remember her name but she ROCKS!!!!... please send my thanks."

Below is a picture of Mikhaela and her mom, Danyelle, both looking so beautiful together.

Mikhaela is from Cartersville, GA and attended the Cass High Senior Prom this past April with her prom date Braxton. The couple certainly couldn't have looked any cuter together! We loved Mikhaela's golden sparkly dress paired with her date's white tuxedo - such a perfect combination. Oh, and did you catch Braxton's shiny gold shoes? The couple certainly knew how to bring the style to prom.

The 2017 Prom Season is only just beginning, but we are excited to see that we are already receiving pictures from our customers looking beautiful in their prom dresses! The latest prom photo comes from Debra Phillips, mom of Glenisha Fortenberry. Debra posted a picture to our Facebook page, and said:

"Thanks for making my baby's prom come to life with this beautiful dress!! We loved it!!... She goes to Vicksburg High School in VIcksburg Mississippi..this was her senior prom."

How fierce does Glenisha look? She rocked her prom dress with such style, with bold fuchsia lips, a matching corsage, and elegant black nails. The prom dress that Glenisha chose is Tiffany Designs 46107, a magnificent mermaid gown that has the perfect balance of glam and classic. The beautiful black lace appliqués on this gown are delicately placed over a sheer overlay that makes for such an exquisite look, especially when paired with makeup like Gelnisha chose!

While Glenisha chose bold makeup to compliment her dress, she kept the accessories to a minimum in order to let the beautiful lace and jewels on the dress do all of the talking. She finished off her look with gold high heels for just the right amount of added glam.

The Homecoming 2016 Season is here, and some of our Roo Girls have already attended their dances, and shared their pictures with us. The latest homecoming photos were shared by Kiersten Kiddy's mom, Toni-Wes Kiddy. While most people think of high school or college when it comes to attending homecoming, Kiersten was actually attending her middle school homecoming. So, get ready for a cuteness overload with her pictures.

Kiersten was all set to attend her middle school homecoming back in August. All she needed was a dress. Kiersten's mom, Toni, called up Rissy Roo's, loving a Lexi by Mon Cheri dress that Kiersten needed in a Size 12. While we didn't have the dress in a Size 12, we did have it in a Size 16, and assured Toni that it can be altered to fit Kiersten. Kiersten and Toni purchased the dress, had it altered, and the rest is history. Needless to say, Kiersten looked beautiful in it for her football homecoming! Before it was time for Kiersten to attend her junior high homecoming, Toni initially sent us pictures of Kiersten trying on the dress. Toni said:

"We talked on the phone on August 31st & whoever I talked to was so helpful & nice (I was very worried about such a big alteration). It was a Sz 16 & has been altered down to about a Sz 12. We absolutely love it. But can't wait to see my daughter in it with her hair & makeup. Thank you again..."

After Kiersten attended her football homecoming, Toni followed-up with pictures of Kiersten on the homecoming field all dressed up. Toni said:

"Here are much better pics of Kiersten in her beautiful dress! Remember it was a Sz 16 taken in to about a Sz 10/12... This was for Selmer Middle School Football Homecoming. And thank you so much!!"

How cute does Kiersten look with her homecoming date? We're just a little obsessed! With Kiersten's obvious fashion sense, we can't believe she's only in middle school. We can't wait to see what she'll be rocking for homecoming and prom in the many years to come in high school!

Prom 2016 may be long over, but we still have it on our mind because we're still obsessing over all of the gorgeous prom pictures our customers have been sending our way! One of the latest in prom dress testimonials comes from Noelle Dadon and her mom, Yvette. Noelle attend her prom in early June. Yvette posted the picture on Facebook, and Noelle left us such a nice testimonial on our website. Nikki Librizzi showed off in two gorgeous Rissy Roo's dresses over the past few months, and we're obsessing just a little (or a lot). She attended her prom back in May, and in June she competed in the America's National Teenager Scholarship Organization (ANTSO) Pageant and walked away with a crown! Of course, she dressed in style in Sherri Hill dresses for both events. Read on to see what she wore to her prom and pageant and what title she won at the ANTSO pageant.

It's finally down to only one 2016 Prom Princess spot left. It was such a hard choice - every single girl looked gorgeous in their prom dress, and we loved all of the testimonials! But, it ultimately came down to only being able to choose one more Prom Princess. So, without further adieu, we're excited to announce that our fifth and final Prom Princess is Kailey Gober!

We are obsessed with her gorgeous prom look, in Sherri Hill 50333! The black dress with pink and red accenting couldn't be more stunning, and we love that her date matched the style of the dress with his suit and boutonniere. Floral perfection!

When Kailey entered our Prom Queen Contest, she shared this message:
