There were so many beautiful Sherri Hill dresses worn during this year's Miss USA pageant, that we couldn't possibly fit them all into one (or two!) posts. Sherri Hill style 21187 was one dress that we loved, but didn't mention in our Miss USA 2013 posts earlier this week. So, we decided to give it a special shout-out and make it our Dress of the Week!

Miss Nebraska wore this sexy red lace dress during the pageant, and she looked absolutely breathtaking! It hugged her curves so well, and the nude coloring made her tan skin glow even more. We also loved the statement necklace she wore with the dress - it complimented the lace in the dress so well and gave her such an elegant look!

Sherri Hill style 21187 is a glamorous short cocktail dress complete with classy and chic lace design and scalloped hem. It's such a pretty minidress for graduation, homecoming, a semi-formal party, or just a fun night out! It comes in a variety of colors, such as black, blue, ivory, navy, and blush. We love how the variety of colors this dress comes in lets you dress it up with a more formal color like black, or even give it a more summery look by choosing the ivory or light blue color. It definitely makes it an easy dress to wear to so many different social occasions...or maybe even on stage at a pageant like Miss Nebraska!

 

Dresses with sheer bodices and lace detailing have been really popular for Prom 2013, and it was certainly a style to watch at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, too! The BBMAs were held on Sunday May 19th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and our favorite looks on the blue carpet (yes, blue...not red!) were worn by Ariana Grande and Jennifer Morrison. They both looked so stunning in black sheer and lace pieces that we decided to dedicate our Billboard Music Awards post to them! While the end of the year means studying for finals and putting the last touches on getting ready for prom, it also means that it's time for Graduation! Whether you're graduating from high school or college, it means that it's the celebration of the end of one stage of your life, and the soon to be new beginning of your next stage. So, while it may feel stressful right now, there will be plenty of parties to attend and plenty of fun to be had.

What to wear on graduation day may not be first on your mind right now, but it's definitely an important thing to think about. Just like prom, it's a day that you'll never forget, and a day that many pictures will be taken! There's after prom, too, and it's just as important to make sure you find the perfect outfit to wear for your post prom events.

When prom ends and the after parties begin, it's time to throw on an outfit that's more fun, flirty, and comfortable, but still has you sparkling all night long! Wearing cute cocktail dresses have been a popular trend the past couple of years, which we absolutely love...why let the glam stop at prom?? Just make sure that the dress doesn't compete with your prom dress - your prom dress should be your big outfit of the night. Below are our favorite frocks that will have you looking glamorous from prom to after-prom.

St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, and that means it's time to put lots of green on! We love this holiday of course because it's a perfect excuse to wear a cute dress. When it comes to showing some St. Paddy's Day pride, your look doesn't have to be head-to-toe green, but with Emerald Green being the 2013 Color of the Year, could you ask for a better time to show off your on-trend style? We didn't think so. Nothing says St. Patrick's Day better than a Little Green Dress, so check out our favorites for the holiday below!

Our favorite dress for St. Patrick's day is Sherri Hill style 21131 in lime green. The neon green color is so perfect for standing out in the sea of green that you're bound to be in on this day, and the bandage fabric is super figure flattering. Best of all, since neon is so on-trend right now, it's the perfect dress to wear time and time again in the spring and summer months.

If neon isn't your thing and you'd rather go with a darker green dress, La Femme style 15907 is a great option.  It's a net pleated short dress with a V shaped front and back. The toned-down green color makes it easy to wear for any other event you may have once St. Patrick's Day has come and gone.

Want to rock the Color of the Year, Emerald Green? Sparkle style 71192 is not only good for that, but also for getting two looks in one! This fun and flirty hi-lo cocktail dress features a strapless neckline, all over sequin body and a removable short tulle over-skirt with a satin bow at the waist. Purple or white are also great colors to choose if you want to show some Valentine's Day love but don't like the traditional red or pink. If those four hues don't work for you, black is always a staple color that you can wear to any event!

As far as the type of dress goes, choose a strapless/sleeveless cocktail dress. You can either go with the traditional fitted cocktail dress, or choose one that flares out at the waist for a more flowy look.
