The 2014 Golden Globe Awards were held this past weekend, and with comedians Amy Poehler and Tina Fey as the hosts, it couldn't have been any more fun to watch! This was the 71st Annual Golden Globes, which celebrates the best in TV and film over the past year. You can read about all of the winners on the Awards page of the Golden Globes website, but just to list our favorite win of the night: Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture - Jennifer Lawrence for American Hustle!

Now, to the good stuff: the red carpet fashion, of course! The 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show finally aired on CBS last night, and it was as amazing as we could have anticipated, especially with one of our faves, Taylor Swift, as the musical guest of the night!

Taylor rocked the event just as hard as the VS Angels, from her floral dress that she wore on the red carpet to the sparkly number she wore while performing on the runway! Check out what she wore below and how you can steal her style for the holidays and prom.

Floral print is such a popular trend right now, and Taylor showed off the style perfectly in the long sleeved cocktail dress that she wore on the "pink" carpet before the event. The black background color of her dress really let the floral details stand out.

Dress designer Sherri Hill creates similar floral dresses that are perfect for formal events from the Holidays to Prom. Two dresses that we love to get Taylor's short dress look are style 21224 and style 21198. Sherri Hill 21224 is a stunning cocktail dress that features an all over lace bodice and multi color sequin floral design. And, Sherri Hill 21224 is an elegant cocktail dress that features a sleeveless, sheer high neckline and an embellished floral design in the bodice with a short flared skirt.

And, the dress she wore for her performance was just as amazing as her "pink" carpet dress! She wore a glamorous silver and sparkly short number that was so complimentary to all of the stunning outfits the Victoria's Secret Angles wore.

Black by Blush C132 is a sexy tank dress that rocks a deep v-illusion outlined in stones with a low open-back.

Miley Cyrus and her older half-sister Brandi Cyrus stunned all as a matching duo at the 2013 American Music Awards this past weekend, because they were both looking so sheek in white! Miley Cyrus may be the star of the past few months, and she did look so lovely in her white suit, but we're so in love with Brandi's long sleeve cocktail dress.

White has been so in this year, and people will be wearing it well into the colder months. And,  Miley and Brandi definitely wore the trend perfectly! But, Brandi's look had us thinking of the Holidays, because her short number is definitely a perfect look for not only the AMAs red carpet, but for a Holiday party, too!

Much like the Victory Tour that takes Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence, and Peeta, Josh Hutcherson, through the 12 districts after their win in the deadly Hunger Games, the stars of the sequel have spent the past week traveling the world, with premiere stops in London, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Paris. Now, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire stars are finally finishing up their premiere back in the U.S. The movie just premiered in Los Angeles earlier this week, and last night they were in New York City.

Since we're all about dresses at Rissy Roo's, we've of course have been paying full attention to Jennifer's looks on the red carpet. We loved her see-through gown at the L.A. premiere, but we're especially loving the cute little black dress she wore last night in NYC!

Halloween may be over, but there's so many costumes that we're still obsessing over! The costume that former Miss USA Rachel Smith wore on Good Morning America's Halloween special is definitely one that we cannot forget. Why? Because she wore a Faviana dress!

 The Miss USA 2007 beauty queen wore Faviana style S7150 to dress as Giuliana Rancic, the E! News co-anchor, for the GMA Halloween Special. Giuliana is known for her on-point fashion sense, and the chiffon gown that Rachel wore definitely had her sparkling just like the journalist! Of course, with Rachel's own past as a beauty queen and as a co-host on the show OnTheRedCarpet, could we have really expected her to wear anything else on Halloween??

The 2013 Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Emmys were last night, Sunday September 22nd, and they were full with so many talented actors and actresses! We were glued to the TV watching all of the awards being announced, but of course, first and foremost is the red carpet for us Roo Girls!

There were so many stunning gowns on this year's red carpet that our verdict is still out on which were our favorites. But, there was one trend that we noticed the celebrities wearing that we're already obsessing over: elegant gowns in electric blue and royal purple! So many of the ladies wore solid colored gowns in one of these bold colors. With the first day of Fall having landed yesterday, everyone must be getting in the mood for darker Fall and Winter colors!
